Carrington West Wing

Coal & Allied is applying for a modification to its current development consent at Hunter Valley Operations.  The application relates to the proposed extension of the Carrington Pit at Hunter Valley Operations North, which is to the south-west of the existing pit, covering an additional area of approximately 137 hectares and the extraction of approximately 17Mt of in-situ of coal. Mining of additional coal is proposed to be undertaken over 6 years, on land owned by Coal & Allied and within the existing development consent period to 2025.
