Business overview

After 150 years in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Coal & Allied is one of the major coal producers in the region, employing more than 2000 people across our three operations - Mount Thorley Warkworth, Hunter Valley Operations and Bengalla.

Coal & Allied is also currently undertaking the Mount Pleasant Project and the Lower Hunter Lands Project.

With an annual coal production of around 30 million tonnes, we continue to evolve as we strive to achieve our vision of being a safe and highly successful business valued by our customers, employees, shareholders and the community.

Successful development, change and business improvements have been key themes of recent years. We have progressed through company divestments to focus on one business in the Hunter Valley with three successful operations.
